Software developer by trade, I started my Nonviolent Communication journey about 1.5 years ago.

NVC has helped me slowly change the relationship I have with myself, from always telling myself what I should do, to gradually listening to my feelings and needs.

I found that when events in our lives have been rough on us, resulting in us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others, the only gift we can give to one another is empathy.
