Felix Hirling

Hi, I’m Felix and stoked to be a part of the Empathy Angel’s team. My motivation to be a part of this movement comes from seeing many people close to me and in my community struggling with mental health. There is so much avoidable suffering that is generated through the language of judgment (of ourselves and others) that we have been trained in. I see NVC as being a powerful antidote to many internal struggles we all face. In my own life, NVC has given me the courage for tough conversations, brought me closer to friends, family and partners and given me a much deeper understanding of what drives my behaviour.

To fill up my cup I enjoy being out in the wild world, observing the influence of light and listening to natural sounds.
I resonate strongly with the healing power of connecting with the more-than-human world. I have seen elements of NVC and being present in nature complement each other powerfully on many occasions and am excited to bring this more to my work as a nature connection guide.

I’m very hopeful and excited to see more Kiwis receiving empathy through this service.
