I’m Jess, unschooling Mama of two girls, living off-grid in the Far North.

I have the joy of sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with parents, couples and individuals in my community and it was within those circles that the thought struck me – how can we make the transformative experience of receiving NVC-based empathy more accessible to more people, regardless of whether they practice NVC or not?

I truly believe that when more of us receive the ‘magic’ of empathy, we are more able to be the human we so love to be.
